co-founders Matt DuBiel and Mike Noonan joined forces in 2004
after a combined 30 years of experience in radio sales,
production, and programming in Midwestern markets ranging in
size and scope from Chicago to Dubuque to Peoria. These
radio pros applied and combined their industry experiences to form BBRN with the goal of helping advertisers and radio stations
alike realize radio’s tremendous profit-potential amidst a
fertile climate for programming and sales synergy!
Since 1991, Matt has worked at some of the
country’s biggest and brightest radio stations wearing a
multitude of hats, including program director and air talent.
Some of these stations include WKQX, Chicago’s
Alternative Q101, WTMX, 101.9 FM The Mix in Chicago, and
WLUP, Chicago’s legendary rocker 97-9 The Loop. Matt helped launch Billboard Magazine’s 2005 “Best New
Radio Station," Nine FM in Chicago. As Nine FM’s
Director of Programming, Matt enjoyed a sterling reputation as
one of the industry’s hottest, hippest, and most innovative
programming minds. In summer '07, Matt was recognized by
Edison Media Research as one of their "30 Most Gifted Radio
Professionals Under 30 Years Old." Most recently,
Matt has ascended to the prestigious position of Operations
Manager at Chicagoland's
Classic Hits, WERV,
95.9 The River.
Mike
similarly has spent the past the past two decades working with some of
America’s greatest radio stations in a variety of areas,
including sales, programming, and production. Mike’s
experiences have varied from being a writer for America’s
foremost news radio station, WBBM-AM in Chicago…to sales,
production, and on-air positions at several suburban Chicago
stations…to being Program Director for a pair of stations in
Chicagoland. Since 2001, Mike has worn a few hats: On-air at
one of the leading rock stations in America, Chicago's WLUP,
97.9 The Loop, as Assistant Production Director at America's number one country
station, US99.5, WUSN, in Chicago, and as the proprietor
of
Mike Noonan Productions.
